With ALAMBICCO, Neil Poulton has created a pendant light that blends light and glass into a harmonious dance. Its curved glass body plays subtly with transparency and texture, directing the light, diffusing it gently and bathing the room in a captivating atmosphere. Inside lies a delicate aluminium structure, encased in a finely ribbed glass cylinder that shields the core and protects against glare. Above it float diffusers, whose beauty is rooted in the centuries-old Venetian ‘balloton’ technique: Tiny, relief-like pyramids are embossed into the hot glass before the luminaire takes its final shape. The result? A unique interplay of light and shadow, reflections that blend with the colours of the surroundings – each piece a unique creation, born of craftsmanship and emotion.
